The children have been comparing life living in an Arctic city with life in Derby. As part of this topic, the children have been writing Arctic riddles and stories, painting Polar landscapes and learning about Polar animals and their habitats as part of their science work. To finish the topic, Year 2 held a celebration afternoon to showcase their work to parents and share what they had been learning. They are now going to be going on an African adventure as part of their next unit of study!
